Curiousity brought me to this site. I know very little of her, since I grew up with Brittney and her influence. Little Jamie was always the one in the shadows, always the one with the normal childhood, and the one we had hoped wouldn't be like her sister - but as a help to her older sister.
Instead, she had condemed her life to that of a woman. She's going from teenager to mother in a matter of a few months, and now she's going to miss out on all the "firsts" someone her age should have. First car, first long term boyfriend, homecoming, prom, college... Though, she can still do all of this, her life is still going to be altered during it.
Sadly, she's given up her youth and "teenage" status. She's forever labeled herself and has now made her a typical stereotype. Personally, she should have made the private choice in this matter to not keep the baby and thus she could remain true to the young girls/children that look up to her, as well as her family, her sister, and many many more. Her career isn't everything, but her youth is. She is a child having a child and though they did it in the middle ages, but it will not hold. You may think that girls now know more about the world, but they do not know enough. They cannot vote, they haven't finished their education, their body isn't fully developed...and they say they're adults.

Everyone deserves the right to their opinion and should quit bashing each other, and Jamie-Lynn. I myself am a 16 year old, and can view it from both sides. I do agree that she shouldn't be having sex with her boyfriend at 16, but I believe the average age of people losing their virginity is only 15 (that's what I remember hearing anyways.) Most of my friends are still virgins, but one of them first had sex at 15, and believes herself fortunate for not getting pregnant at such a young age. There are plenty of teenagers who have had sex, it's not just Jamie-Lynn, there's plenty of teenagers who have gotten pregnant, it's not just Jamie-Lynn. Just because she decides to keep her baby, and announce her pregnancy doesn't mean she's a slut. If she decided to have an abortion, and nobody found out about it, then would she not be a slut? I can not believe how much you people hate her. What I do not understand is WHY? Yes she is pregnant but what does that say I think it is a wake up to parents.
